Letter to Our Readers

Dear readers of The Organizer,

The Editorial Board of The Organizer met in Oakland, Calif., at the end of June and decided to modify our publication schedule and format.

Beginning with our July 2023 hard-copy (printed) version, we will return to publishing a monthly printed newspaper.  We interrupted publication of a printed issue because of COVID and the closure of affordable union print shops.

We call upon our readers to renew their hard-copy subscriptions and to order a bundle of printed copies for distribution to friends, relatives, co-workers, and fellow unionists or community activists.

We also will continue to publish two electronic issues of The Organizer per month, as we have been doing over the past two years. Every 10 days, you will be receiving a copy of The Organizer: two electronic version and one hard copy version.

From time to time, we also will publish Special Issues of The Organizer. At the end of August 2023, for example, we will publish a Special Issue devoted to the life and political legacy of our departed comrade, Ralph Schoenman, founding co-editor of The Organizer. [See story below.]

The full packet of three issues per month will now cost $30 (for 12 months). If you wish to receive all three issues in their electronic version, the cost will be $10. A bundle of 10 copies of the print version will cost an additional $20 per month.

Over the past two years, our readership has grown to 2,136 electronic readers. But only one third of our readers have continued to pay to renew their subs. Given the important articles in The Organizer — articles that you will NOT find anywhere else – we call upon all our readers to RENEW TODAY and send your checks to our new mailing address  (The Organizer Newspaper, PO Box 1782, New York, N.Y. 10025), or, preferably, send your payments via the Paypal link on our website: www.socialistorganizer.org.
