Labor Beat: Columbia College Chicago 2-Day Part-Time Faculty Strike

Columbia College Chicago’s part-time faculty union (P-fac) voted by 89% to go on a 2-day strike on November 29, 2017. There were many reasons, including low wages and dwindling job security, with the previous contract expiring nearly three months ago.
